Hey everyone!

So it seems as if it’s been forever since I’ve updated the website or my blog.  For any of you that have been tuning in or been questioning the new music status, well, here is the update!

First of all, thank you to everyone who tuned in to watch my Fox 31 News interview on Online Internet Predators.  It is crucial that ALL teenagers and parents hear this message, especially because it occurs more often than most know!  If you missed the interview (don’t worry, I forgive you [: ) you can check it out on my myspace at www.myspace.com/britynmykhail!!!  If you have any questions concerning the Jefferson County DA’s Office, or Mike Harris’s CSOII programs, please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email!

Next?

Hopefully I will be recording some new music soon.  Things have been quite hectic lately, and I am finally starting to sort things out (hopefully).  A little over two months ago, I lost my voice completely, to the point where I sounded like a man!  I went to my  ENT, who told my that my vocal chords were extremely swollen and on the verge of hemorrhaging!  Currently, I am undergoing vocal/speech therapy to correct the problem, and will continue lessons through next year.  After a second scope a few weeks ago, the doctor says I am WELL on the way to recovery!  What does that mean?  Hopefully the ability to sing and create new songs for you all to hear soon!  I have some pretty sweet new ones [:

To add to this dilemma, I recently began having lower back pain.  After not being able to sit upright for more than 15 minutes, I had my mother call an Orthopedist who believes I have fractured my lower spine, due to the excessive dancing I did when I was a child (and still continue, occasionally).  I am scheduled to have an MRI this Saturday, and will find more information soon!  Please pray that everything works out okay!

Thank you all for sticking with me and being the best supporters ever.  I have some really amazing friends and family who help me through anything, and I can’t thank you guys enough for your patience! 2009 has been incredibly interesting, with many ups and downs.  However, I hope that 2010 will bring many new and exciting things for me to share with you!  [:
